Randy Villegas is an educator, community organizer, and current trustee for the Visalia Unified School District Board of Education. A son of Mexican immigrants born in Bakersfield, California, Villegas earned an associate degree from Bakersfield College, a bachelor's degree from CSU Bakersfield, and a Ph.D. in Politics from UC Santa Cruz. He serves as a Professor of Political Science at the College of the Sequoias. Villegas is running for Congress in California's 22nd District.
