Raul Ruiz is an American physician and politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 25th congressional district since 2023, having previously represented the 36th district from 2013 to 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, Ruiz earned his medical degree, Master of Public Policy, and Master of Public Health from Harvard University. Before entering Congress, he worked as an emergency room physician at Eisenhower Medical Center and founded the Coachella Valley Healthcare Initiative.
