Rebecca M. Stallworth

Rebecca M. Stallworth is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 23. An experienced educator and former information services librarian, Stallworth has dedicated over a decade to mentoring young people, both in the classroom and as a leader in the Civil Air Patrol. Her campaign platform centers on several key issues: increasing funding for Prince George's County schools, providing property tax relief for seniors, expanding vocational training opportunities for high school students, and implementing policies to support working families. Stallworth holds a Ph.D. in communication and information from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Science in library science from the University of Kentucky, and a B.A. in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
