Rebecca Mann Rayborn

Rebecca Mann Rayborn has lived in Jamestown for 33 years. She graduated from Ragsdale High School in 1996, earned a BA from North Carolina State University in 2000, and an MA from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2008. Her father, Buddy Mann, served on the Jamestown Town Council from 1977 to 1983. Rayborn has worked with various nonprofit and advocacy organizations focused on underserved populations. She has served on the Jamestown Town Council since 2017 and is the current mayor pro tem. Her community involvement includes serving as vice-chair of the Old Jamestown School Association (Jamestown Public Library) board and co-leading a Girl Scout troop.
