Rhonda A. Haymon is a native Californian, born in Bellflower. She earned a bachelor's degree from Tuskegee University and a law degree from Willamette University. Haymon has worked as a Los Angeles County Deputy Public Defender for over 20 years. She is also an adjunct professor at Southwestern Law School, where she teaches criminal procedure and litigation.
