Richard Tabor is a U.S. Army and National Guard veteran who deployed to Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, he served as a New Jersey State Police Trooper. Tabor is the founder of New Life Direction, a community initiative focused on empowering local youth and building trust between law enforcement and neighborhoods. He is running as a Republican candidate to represent New Jersey in the United States Senate.
