Robert 'Bobby' Wheeler is the current Mayor of Creedmoor, first elected in 2017. He is a longtime resident and the owner and chief pharmacist of Creedmoor Drug. Wheeler graduated from South Granville High School in 1972 and earned a BS in Pharmacy from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1979. He has a long history of community service, including serving on the Granville-Vance Board of Health and the Creedmoor Board of Adjustment. He is a recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina's highest civilian honor.
