Rod McMillion is a non-partisan candidate for the Baltimore County Board of Education, representing District 7 in Maryland. A lifelong resident of Essex for over sixty years, McMillion brings deep ties to his community and extensive experience in education. Before being elected to the board in 2018 and 2022, he dedicated nearly thirty-six years to Baltimore County Public Schools as a physical education teacher. He spent twenty-five years at Chesapeake High School, serving as a teacher, coach, and athletic director. He holds degrees from Towson State University, Morgan State University, and Loyola College, reflecting his lifelong commitment to student success.
