S. Larry Tichnell

S. Larry Tichnell is a Republican County Commissioner representing District 1 in Garrett County, Maryland. He has held this public office since December 9, 2014. In addition to his role in county government, Tichnell is an established local businessman as the owner and operator of Tichnell and Son Farm and Construction. He also works professionally as a sales representative for the Mountaineer Log and Siding Company. His commitment to the community is demonstrated through his service on the Board of Directors for the Garrett County Fair and his membership in the Garrett County Farm Bureau. Furthermore, he serves as a trustee at White United Methodist Church. Tichnell is married and has three children.
