Saikat Chakrabarti is a political advisor, software engineer, and candidate for the U.S. House to represent California's 11th Congressional District. He was a founding engineer at Stripe before entering politics as the technology director for Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign. Chakrabarti co-founded Justice Democrats, served as chief of staff to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and played a key role in developing the Green New Deal. He also led the think tank New Consensus.
