Sandra Jauregui is the Nevada Assembly Majority Leader and a member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 41. A Democrat from Las Vegas, she is a 2019 EMILYs List Rising Star Award nominee with a distinguished record of public service. She previously worked in Nevada’s Home Again program and, as a survivor of the 1 October shooting, has championed commonsense gun violence prevention laws. Jauregui is running for Lieutenant Governor to be a fierce champion for Nevada’s working families, advocating for policies that lower costs, expand access to good-paying jobs, strengthen public education, ensure affordable housing, and cap healthcare costs. She aims to deliver bold leadership and expand Democratic power in Nevada.
