Stavros Anthony is the incumbent Lieutenant Governor of Nevada, having assumed office in January 2023. A Republican, he is seeking re-election in the 2026 primary for this office. Prior to his current statewide role, he served on the Las Vegas City Council for over a decade. His extensive background also includes a career as a captain in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and experience as an adjunct faculty member. Anthony holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he has received an endorsement from President Trump for his re-election campaign.
