Sara Kurovski is a candidate for Mayor of the City of Pleasant Hill in Pleasant Hill, Iowa — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-partisan.

Sara Kurovski became the first female mayor of Pleasant Hill in 2013 at the age of 29, also making her the youngest. She was re-elected for her third term in 2021, with the current term expiring in 2025. In addition to her mayoral duties, she has been the President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Iowa since March 2021. Her prior career includes roles as the Tocqueville Society Director for United Way of Central Iowa, a sustainability manager for Kum & Go, and an Operations Program Manager at Metro Waste Authority. Kurovski earned a Master's in Public Administration from Drake University and a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Truman State University. She has been recognized with several honors, including being named to the Business Record's 40 Under 40 in 2015.
