Sarah Anthony is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan State Senate representing District 21. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022. Anthony is the first African American woman to chair the Michigan Senate Appropriations Committee and sponsored the state's CROWN Act. She holds a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University.
