Shevrin D. Jones is an educator and politician serving as the Florida State Senator for the 34th District since 2020. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 101st District from 2012 to 2020. Born in Miami Gardens, Florida, Jones holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Florida A&M University, as well as a Master of Education and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University.
