Stacy Wiese

Stacy Wiese is an incumbent judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, having first been elected to the bench on June 3, 2014, and assuming office in January 2015. She won re-election in 2020 after the election was canceled as she was the only candidate to file. Her current term is set to end on January 4, 2027. Prior to becoming a judge, Wiese served as a deputy district attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for 14 years, where she handled numerous high-profile cases in the Major Crimes Unit and prosecuted 63 cases, including 20 murders. She earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from California State University, Los Angeles, and her J.D., cum laude, from Southwestern University School of Law. Wiese has been noted for her compelling personal background, having overcome a rebellious youth to build a successful legal career.
