Steffanie Musich has served as the Park and Recreation Commissioner for District 5 since 2014 and is the current Vice President of the board. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Minnesota and has a professional background in the banking industry, including roles as a Corporate Accountant and in IT. Musich is the founder of the Friends of Lake Nokomis, a non-profit stewardship group. She is also a University of Minnesota Master Gardener and has a personal interest in urban farming and sustainable landscaping, having converted her own lawn into an urban farm and installed a green roof.
