Stephen A. Tillett is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland State Senate in Legislative District 32. A retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, he has an extensive background in military and community service. Tillett served for over 20 years as a chaplain in the Air National Guard and Reserves, with assignments that included Wing Chaplain at Andrews Air Force Base and Senior IMA Chaplain at Arlington National Cemetery. For more than two decades, he was the pastor of Asbury Broadneck United Methodist Church in Annapolis. His community leadership also includes serving as a former president of the Anne Arundel County NAACP, reflecting a long-standing commitment to public service and advocacy within his community.
