Stephen Yurash, a retired computer chip engineer, is a candidate for the Colorado House of Representatives District 52 in the 2026 Primary Election. Born and raised in Palo Alto, California, he moved to Fort Collins in 2003. Yurash earned a Bachelor's from San José State University and had a long career, notably as a Senior DFT Engineer at Intel. He has also served on the Larimer County Board of Health and Fort Collins Electric Board. Formerly a Republican, he is now associated with the Colorado Center Party, where his blog posts address issues like political dysfunction, supporting businesses, and immigration reform. He is also an avid skier, hiker, and motorcycle rider and has three adult children.
