Steven Folmar

Steven Folmar is an applied cultural anthropologist and a faculty member at Wake Forest University. His areas of interest include Medical and Psychological Anthropology. He has conducted fieldwork in several countries, with a primary focus on Nepal, where he researches issues of identity and social justice for the Dalit, or "untouchable" castes. He holds a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
