Steven Holden is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and Democratic candidate for New York's 24th Congressional District. Raised on an Oklahoma dairy farm, he served in the military from 1998 to 2018, completing combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and a graduate degree from Syracuse University. Following his military career, Holden worked as a chief financial officer and started a business to support veterans.
