Sue Budd

Sue Budd is the incumbent council member for Ward 3, having started her service in 2022. She has been a resident of St. Louis Park for over 25 years. Budd graduated from the Carlson School of Management and has a background as a business process consultant and has worked in the nonprofit sector focusing on racial justice. She has been actively involved in community organizing for over a decade, advocating for education equity, affordable housing, and criminal justice. Her volunteer work has included leadership roles with ISAIAH, the Suburban Hennepin Housing Coalition, and the St. Louis Park Community Housing Team.
