Susan Richardson Braniecki

Susan Richardson Braniecki is a Republican politician who serves as the Worcester County Clerk of the Circuit Court in Maryland. Born in Washington, D.C., she earned a bachelor's degree in liberal studies from Salisbury State College in 1984. Braniecki has extensive experience in the Worcester County Clerk's office, beginning as a deputy clerk in 1986. She subsequently served as courtroom supervisor, assignment clerk, and Chief Deputy Clerk from 2007 to 2014. In December 2014, she assumed the role of Clerk of the Circuit Court. Braniecki ran for re-election to the position in 2018 and 2022 as a Republican.
