Susan Ross was first appointed to the Board of Education in January 2022 to fill an unexpired term representing Chatham Township. She was subsequently elected to a full three-year term in November 2022. In January 2024, she was voted to serve as the Vice President of the board. Ross has been an active member of the board's curriculum committee. A board meeting in August 2024 noted she has twin children in the school district.
