Taiba Sultana is a former Easton City Councilwoman who represented the 3rd District. She was the first Muslim-American woman and first woman of color elected to the council. Originally from Pakistan, Sultana earned an associate degree from Northampton Community College. She works as a political consultant and organizer. In 2026, Sultana launched a write-in campaign for Pennsylvania State Senate District 18 after a court ruled she could not appear on the Democratic primary ballot.
