Tammi Thurm has represented District 5 on the Greensboro City Council since 2017. She moved to Greensboro to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she earned a BS in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance. Prior to her election, she worked as a Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Operations for businesses in the Triad. Thurm has served on the Minimum Housing Commission and has been active with the Greensboro Jewish Federation and the Women's Resource Center.
