Tammi Zucker Thurm is a candidate for Greensboro City Council District 5 in Greensboro, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Tammi Thurm has served on the Greensboro City Council for District 5 since 2017. She moved to Greensboro in 1975 to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she earned a BS in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance. Prior to her election, she worked as a Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Operations for businesses in the Triad. Thurm has been active in the community, serving on the Minimum Housing Commission and with the Greensboro Jewish Federation. She currently serves on several boards, including as the Vice Chair of the Jordan Lake One Water Alliance and as Greensboro's representative to the North Carolina League of Municipalities.
