Teddy Dorsette III is a filmmaker, entrepreneur, and disability advocate running for the Michigan House of Representatives in District 1 [1.3]. A native Detroiter, Dorsette earned a degree in Screen Arts and Cultures from the University of Michigan and graduated from the Motion Picture Institute. He is the CEO of TeddyBoy Films, co-owner of Def Lens Media, and has served as communications manager for Detroit Disability Power. He also served on the state's Advisory Council on Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing.
