Dr. Theresa Brooks is a physician, small business owner, and member of the Troy City Council. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from Michigan State University, completing her residency at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Brooks runs a private practice specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation and teaches at the Oakland University School of Medicine. She is currently a Democratic candidate for the Michigan State Senate in District 9.
