Thomas R. Tompsett, Jr. is a judicial candidate for Judge of the Circuit Court in Maryland's 3rd Judicial Circuit, representing Baltimore County. Appointed to the bench by Governor Wes Moore in October 2024, Judge Tompsett brings a wealth of legal experience to the court. Before his appointment, he served as a senior associate trial attorney at Harris Jones & Malone from 2017 to 2024. He also spent nine years as an Assistant State's Attorney in Baltimore County, prosecuting violent crimes. Tompsett holds a B.A. from Towson University and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is running as a Judicial candidate to continue his service on the Circuit Court.
