Tiffany Tai

Tiffany Tai was appointed as a Judge to the Superior Court of Los Angeles County by Governor Gavin Newsom. She previously served as a Commissioner at the same court starting in 2022. Before joining the bench, she was a partner at Ritt, Tai, Thvedt & Hodges, LLP, a law firm in Pasadena, where she had worked since 1995, starting as a law clerk. Her practice focused on business and civil litigation. Tai is a first-generation immigrant who has lived in the San Gabriel Valley since she was seven. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1997 and also holds a Master's degree from the USC Annenberg School for Communication.
