Timothy Douglas Moffitt

Timothy "Tim" Moffitt is a member of the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 48 since January 2023. He previously served in the North Carolina House of Representatives. A graduate of West Henderson High School, Moffitt did not pursue a college career but inherited an entrepreneurial spirit from his father. He is a self-made businessman who runs several businesses, including a real estate firm, a vacation and events venue, and Moffitt International, an executive search and management consulting firm he founded in 1990. He and his wife, Dina, have five adult sons.
