Timothy Forrest was elected to the Holly Springs Town Council in 2021. He is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with over 30 years of military leadership experience, including command positions during global military operations. In the private sector, he founded and operated a veteran-owned drywall repair business. Forrest holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, an MBA from the University of Arkansas Grantham, and a B.S. in Political Science. He is also an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America in Southern Wake County.
