Tommy Deweese

Tommy Deweese is the incumbent Commissioner for Ward 3, with his current term set to expire in November 2025. He was elected to the position in July 2022. Before his role as commissioner, he worked for the Department of the Treasury for 38 years before retiring. Deweese is also involved in several community organizations, including serving as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America and being a member, instructor, and Range Safety Officer for the National Rifle Association. He also serves as an Ex-Officio member on the Mooresville Downtown Commission Board of Directors.
