Toni Mua is an entrepreneur, crisis management specialist, and community advocate running for the Michigan House of Representatives in District 9. A native Detroiter raised by an immigrant mother, Mua holds degrees in business administration from Oakland University and a master's in public administration from Wayne State University. In 2020, she founded Pricewoods, a nonprofit addressing poverty and social injustice that provided pro bono support to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
