Tony McConkey is a Republican candidate for Judge of the Orphans' Court in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Born in Cheverly, he earned dual bachelor's degrees in government and politics and business management from the University of Maryland, College Park, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. McConkey built a career in real estate and property management. He served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates from 2003 to 2019, representing District 33. During his sixteen-year legislative tenure, he served on the Appropriations Committee and worked on issues concerning state judiciary administration.
