Vanessa F. Jones

Vanessa F. Jones is a non-partisan candidate for the Board of Education in Commissioner District 5 of Somerset County, Maryland. A Crisfield resident, Jones brings a strong background in early childhood education to her campaign. She previously served as the Assistant Program Coordinator for Early Childhood Education Services with Baltimore City Head Start. Additionally, she has coordinated state-level Head Start programs for the Maryland State Department of Education. Jones is dedicated to advocating for equitable, high-quality educational experiences and school readiness to help all children reach their full potential.
