Vanessa Oliver is a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 76 since 2024. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, she moved to Charlotte County, Florida in 1988 and was raised in Port Charlotte, graduating from Charlotte High School. She earned a B.A. in Economics (Government minor) from the College of William & Mary in 2002 and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2006. An attorney who is Board Certified in Health Law, she has practiced civil, commercial, real property, and municipal law and serves as a healthcare executive with Ambitrans Ambulance (Chief Administrative Officer; formerly General Counsel). She and her husband David live in Punta Gorda and have three children.
