Verlina Reynolds-Jackson is a New Jersey State Assemblywoman representing the 15th Legislative District since 2018. Prior to serving in the Assembly, she was an East Ward Councilwoman and Council Vice President for the City of Trenton, where she was the first African American woman to hold the position. She has a background in social work and holds advanced degrees from Trenton State College and Central Michigan University. She is running for the U.S. House in New Jersey's 12th District.
