Vicki Werneke earned degrees from Minot High School, Oklahoma City University (1986), and the University of Oklahoma College of Law (1989). Her extensive legal career includes serving as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in both Ohio and Oklahoma, as well as holding roles within the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System and as a Judicial Law Clerk. Now a retired public defender, she is campaigning as a Democrat for the Oklahoma House of Representatives, District 92, in both the regular and a special primary election on June 16, 2026.
