Victoria Sawyer

Victoria 'Vickie' Sawyer is a business owner and a Republican member of the North Carolina Senate, representing the 37th district. She graduated from Parkland High School in Winston-Salem and earned a bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Since 2002, she and her husband, Brett, have owned and operated Sawyer Insurance & Financial Services in Mooresville. They have two daughters. Sawyer was first elected to the State Senate in 2018. She currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Senate Transportation Committee.
