Scott Montgomery is an incumbent member of the South Carolina House of Representatives with over 25 years of operational and financial management experience. He has a diverse background as an investment banker, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur, having founded companies like Southern Mulch and CoreCare Medical. He also served at JP Morgan Chase and worked in textile printing in Poland. Currently, he is a Take 5 Oil Change franchisee and serves on the Board of Trustees for Apella Health Management. A graduate of Christ School and Hampden-Sydney College, Scott is actively involved in his community, previously chairing the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System Foundation board and serving on the Spartanburg Day School and Upstate Forever advisory boards. He and his wife Laura have three children and are members of the Episcopal Church of the Advent.
