Wendy L. Andersen

Wendy Andersen is an author and speaker focused on empowering families with special needs children, a mission inspired by her own son's medical diagnosis. A 2011 article about a previous city council campaign noted she had a Bachelor's degree in secondary education and diplomas in pastoral counseling and leadership. At that time, she worked as a teacher for high-risk students and as a police chaplain. She has also been a foster parent.
