William M Chumley

William M. Chumley, known as Bill, is an incumbent Republican State Representative for South Carolina's 35th District, having first assumed office in 2010. Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in 1947, he currently serves on the House Agriculture, Natural Resources & Environmental Affairs Committee and is a member of the South Carolina Freedom Caucus. His legislative efforts include sponsoring bills on racing facilities, unstructured recess in public schools, enhanced penalties for sexual exploitation of minors, public school grading, and the South Carolina Student Physical Privacy Act. With a record of legislative action, he is seeking re-election to continue representing his constituents and advancing conservative policies.
