William Morgan is a Statesville native and CEO of a wealth management firm. He previously served on the Statesville City Council from 2013 to 2022, including three years as mayor pro tempore. During his time on the council, he worked to secure over $10 million in grants for the Statesville Regional Airport and helped develop the Larkin Regional Commerce Park. He has also served on the city's planning board and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.
