Zoe Lofgren is a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives, representing California's 18th Congressional District. First elected to Congress in 1994, she previously served on the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors from 1981 to 1994 and worked as an immigration attorney. Lofgren earned her bachelor's degree from Stanford University and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. She serves on the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee.
