• Dion F. Guthrie — County Council in Councilmanic District A, Maryland

  Dion F. Guthrie, a Democratic member of the Harford County Council, represented District A. His public service includes multiple terms on the council, beginning in December 2006. Over the years, Guthrie has been a member of various county boards and commissions, such as the Board of Health, Community Mediation Commission, and the Commission on Disabilities. He also served for many years as the president and business manager for Local 1501 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. In November 2024, Guthrie was removed from his council seat following a plea in a felony theft case.

He is a father of seven and a grandfather, and he actively volunteers with local and national charities. Beck currently serves on the Harford County Human Relations Commission, representing District A. His platform focuses on managed development, governmental transparency, and public safety.

• Elliott Joseph Herneker — House of Delegates in Legislative District 34A, Maryland

  Elliott Joseph Herneker is a Republican candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 34A. A lifelong resident of Harford County, Herneker has deep roots in the community. His educational background includes a diploma from Harford Technical High School, an associate degree in political science from Harford Community College, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Professionally, he is employed as a supervisor at UPS, where he has developed leadership and logistical skills.
