Alexia Davis Payne

Alexia Davis Payne is an Augusta attorney seeking election as judge of the Georgia 10th Superior Court District Augusta Circuit in 2026. A Texas native, she earned her bachelor's from Baylor University and her law degree from Tulane University. Payne dedicated over a decade to public defense work, serving as lead counsel in more than 40 jury trials, which she states shaped her commitment to protecting rights and ensuring people are heard. Currently a partner at Davis, Chapman and Wilder, she practices criminal defense, family law, personal injury, and mediation.
