Alice Elizabeth Benton is a lifelong Georgian who earned her law degree with honors from The University of Georgia in 1994, following her bachelor's at Vanderbilt. With a thirty-year legal career, she has served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Fulton County and led her own private family law firm. Appointed to the Fulton Superior Court bench by Governor Brian P. Kemp in December 2023, she officially took office in January 2024. Judge Benton is committed to integrity, fairness, and respect for the law. She is active in legal organizations like the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association, and volunteers with St. Philip’s Cathedral and the Junior League of Atlanta. She campaigns on her experience, honesty, and fairness, driven by the voices of Fulton County citizens.
