Alisha Adams Johnson is the incumbent District Attorney for the Rockdale Judicial Circuit in Georgia, seeking re-election in the Democratic primary on May 19, 2026. She was appointed to her current role by Governor Nathan Deal. Johnson has served the Rockdale County District Attorney’s Office for over 12 years, initially as an intern during her time at Georgia State University College of Law, and earlier earning her undergraduate degree from Spelman College. Her career progressed from prosecuting misdemeanor crimes to felony cases, including theft and murder. A member of the 2018 Leadership Rockdale class, she is married and a mother of four. As District Attorney, she prioritizes ensuring young people have the support, resources, and safe spaces they deserve.
